My 3 Month Old Chick Is Acting Weak

I have a young chicken that is about 3 months old. For about 3 days now, she’s been acting weak and it seems like she doesn’t want to move around much. The others I have around her age that she has been kept with all seem fine. She is still eating and drinking on her own, but she’s keeping her feathers ruffled, her tail feathers are slightly drooping and she just acts weak. Sometimes she just wants to lay in one spot and other times she is up and walking around (very slowly). There are no noticeable injuries to her. She is beautiful and very sweet I really don’t want to lose her. My 3 year old has named her Sky and is very attached to her. Does anyone have any idea what could possibly be wrong with her and what I can do to help her? Thanks so much for all your help.

Well, she definitely sounds sick but you'll have to search more symptoms on her, eyes, beak, color, droppings maybe pics bc what you describe is too general of symptoms to narrow down, and sometimes no reason is found, try to keep her separated in case it's contagious, feed soft proteins, hydrate with electrolytes

Hope she gets better, sometimes they do on their own depends on what she has but those with more experience will need more details :)

Thank you!! I’ll try to post some pictures of her. I’m keeping her separated and hopefully I’ll figure out what’s going on and get her better soon.

Can you post some photos of how she looks and of her poop?
If possible, can you take a stool sample to your vet for testing?
How long have you had her?
How long has she been outside?
What type of feed?

The symptoms you describe, to me, sounds like Coccidiosis. If she were mine, I would get her started on Corid to see if that makes any difference.

Just for curiosity, what part of NC are you in - western, foothills, etc.? Have you had a LOT of rain?

I posted some pictures of her from my phone and a reply to Wyorp Rock's comment, but just noticed it didn't actually post. Probably because I didn't have good service or something. But an update on her current condition.. She is doing awesome now! I had brought her in and secluded her. She started to perk up a couple of days after being brought inside, but I wanted to keep her inside for awhile longer just to make sure she didn't go back to being weak again. After keeping her inside and separated for some time, she improved a lot and when she seemed to be back at 100%, I slowly reintroduced her to her flock outside. She is still outside and is doing great. I still keep a good eye on her. Thanks for your help and concern everyone!!
