My little boy will be 3 at christmas time and he LUVS his chickens, and ducks and turkeys and roosters and silkies and baby chicks! All I ever here is " i wanna go in 'nere mom, I wanna go in 'nere!" And he does and it closely looks like your scene of scattering chicks! Out of the whole lot of them There is a NH red pullet Sally, A white silkie roo Buddy, and my blue swede duck Hillary that will allows to be picked up and loved repeatedly.. Every once in a while he will nab a barred rock hen or a turkey.
It makes it all the more worth it..They will have these memories for a lifetime.
