Your Chicks colours and overall appearance is not a pure Ameruacana...Still nice Birds..If you want pure Contact a local Bird group that shows pure Ameruacana and purchase from those people..

I have to agree with everybody else on here. There are only two hatcheries that I'm aware of that sell Ams, and I've never heard of real ones being sold at a feed store. Unfortunetly, there is nothing stopping hatcheries and feed stores from selling EEs under the name Ameraucana. As I stated before, it really sucks when you expect to purchase a pure bred animal only to find out its a mutt. Unfortunetly, when you purchase Ams from a feed store, this is what's happening. And Unfortunetly, your feed store employees probably believe that these animals are what they are advertised to be.

Huh..Generally it's a blue/ green egg..They don't change egg colours daily...

That's not quite true. Any chicken will continue to lay variations of the same shade. So, my EE who lays green eggs, will always lay green eggs. Even if they get lighter in color, but she will never lay brown. They can't lay a brown egg, a blue egg, and a green egg on different days. it doesn't work that way.
