I am a owner of 4 Wyandotte hens and I live in a rainforest on the Big Island of Hawaii. They're free ranged and laying eggs every day. I "found" a young wild rooster, who has decided to stay in my backyard WITH my hens. The question is this...are my hens SAFE? What about possible bugs that this rooster might have? What if my hens get pregnant, can I still eat their eggs?
Right now, my hens are tolerating him but when he gets near their food, they all rush him! Please help and Mahalo in advance
