Down south of my place today there was a chicken swap meet/sale. I had never been to one, but planed on picking up a few more laying hens to go with my 4 RIR's. So, yesterday I build a second coop, to keep the new girls isolated some the others for a while. (It turned out so nice I plan to move them all in there in a few weeks) Anyway, this morning I saw a bunch of BO's and RIR's, but finally settled on 5 bantam's hens.

These two (I think they are cochins?) look like BO bantams.

These two look like silver lace wyandottes, momma and baby.
I thought there was only one chicken in the cage until I saw another head poke out!

The RIR's don't really know what to think.
The fifth one (camera shy) I think is a plymouth barred rock bantam, but she has dark legs, not yellow.
Plus, the seller gave me a great deal too!
I never really thought much of bantam until I saw these girls.
