He's not a mean rooster, but my son says he "looks mean". The only way we can get him to go outside is to put him in his "roo gear". lol

Actually, the gear is a good idea. It's never a good idea to allow a child around a rooster, even a usually docile one. The eyes of a young kid are just at the right level for damage by a flogging rooster. And little kids movements are jerky and grabby at times and may trigger an attack.

I LOVE it!!! I have a 5 year old daughter who was afraid of a blue SILKIE
