MY 8 WEEK OLD BR ATE MY EARRING!!!

Hey guys!

My 8 week old BR was standing on my shoulder and pecked my earring right off my ear! It was about 1/2 cm big, one of those that you get when you first get your ears pierced, so it was rather pointy…

Ive read a few posts on chickens eating earrings, and apparently it will pass, but all the stories I’ve read are of adult chickens, but how will a 8 week old fare?

The earring wasn’t particularly valuable, so I probably wont be sifting through poop

Any advice? I’m really worried

I think she should be fine do you have a pic to tell if she is small or big for 8 weeks

She is the smallest of her flock unfortunately. She is only 754g while the others are 1kg+
