My 9 baby quails

As you know it’s kinda hard to take pics as they won’t stand still but these two are somewhat tame.

I posted one that is “normal” and the other is darker and has a darker face, and darker feathers the pattern seems a bit different with white edges I dunno it just doesn’t look the same as the parents or the other off spring and I also found I have another similar in the brooder but the face isn’t as dark

One of my browns have white flight feathers, so I’m wondering if there’s some underlying tuxedo or something? I want to hatch some of her eggs and see what happens

I am trying to introduce them a bit early to see how it'd be.



just one day Nath stop pecking on her child.
but I don't trust them yet.
I'm gonna wait at least a week before I remove that barrier.
