Will upload close ups later... He really is fast on his feet, lol. He was tame as a dog now since he moved up he pecking order he is so wild.I successfully raised a non sterile Cornish x roo to nine months with no breathing problems fast on its feet and also free ranged forager. He fathers 2 chicks with 2.5 pounds Red Jungle Fowl hen and 5 with 6 pound half breed Leghorn hen.
Are you sure that’s a good idea? Look how he’s standing doesn’t look right to me . I’d be surprised if he is healthy .... nkt sure why you are doing this? What’s your goal here?
I just dont want to kill him, was wondering how long they can live, my goal is to prove they can be raised without complication and health risk, and to get meat chicks that can be killed 3 months or earlier,,wondering if he can survive until Christmas, I just don't want to find him dead and all that meat go to waste. Are you sure that’s a good idea? Yeah, i sure will, even have some in the bator now.Congrats!
Are you going to try to get him to father more chicks?
Omg, that can happen? He fell off the roost (20 ft) a few times the skin on the chest was blood red for a few days. Gonna have start his dieting again he gained 2 more pounds. I want him to be 13 pounds or no more than 15 llbThis is not a good idea, he is going to be feet up in your run one day from cardiac arrest or worse his skin will split open ,just so you can experiment with his life ... it’s not nice
