I don't waste money on make-up. I'm on this farm 99.9% of the time and the critters don't care what my face looks like, as long as my hands contain treats.
I buy the same face cream I've always bought ($7 a jar) and the same body cream ($12 a jar). What I'm addicted to is shampoo and conditioner. I think it stems from my frustration that my hair, once my crowning glory, has gone dry and brittle since menopause.
Last night I bought a new brand of shampoo and one of conditioner, though my old bottles are still half full. I really wanted to try the new aveeno shampoo, but I'm not about to pay the outrageous price.
Anyhow, I put the new bottles in the shower and moved the old stuff to the bathroom cabinet, where they joined 20+ bottles of old stuff; all different brands.
I know what to use the old conditioners for (makes great shave cream), but what do I use the old shampoos for?
