So today I went to a poultry show, and met a few fellow BYCer's. Came home with 19 more chickens

Pictures to come, and we have a total of 7 new baby chicks that hatched last night and another hatch next week and the week after

Oh man, what are we going to do with all these chickens

With all of my incubating, my husband has had to have some emergency carpentry sessions out in the shed recently...

Y'alls posts about this show are just hysterical. I'm getting a kick out of reading them! Sounds like a good time was had by all, for sure.

Pics of all of the new chickens would be fun to see!

We are building another coop, it's more of another house though. Our first plan was 16' long, by 8' high, and 8' high. But now we're thinking more like 24' long instead..you know just for a little extra room

We're building it after the design of Gregs coop https://www.backyardchickens.com/web/viewblog.php?id=3809-Our_Coop and have the seperate runs for different breeds. We've got the floor and the walls up, so we're hoping to finish it within the next week or so
