I do not know what variety they are but they look like this.

Those are Easter Eggers. They are a pretty popular ''breed'' so it shouldn't be too hard to pickup a rooster in need of a new home. I suggest you ask on your state thread here on BYC, or on your local craigslist.

Right! That's strange.
Anyways, you have Easter Eggers. Nothing wrong with Easter Eggers. I adore them. But they are not Ameraucana. Just about every feed store in the country that sells Ameraucana chicks are actually selling Easter Eggers.

Araucana are rumpless and tufted, for starters. Source is a big giveaway. If they are hatchery or feed store sourced and cost about the same as other breeds, they are Easter Eggers. If no color/variety is specified, they are probably Easter Eggers.
If they don't match any of the birds pictured here ( http://ameraucanabreedersclub.org/gallery.html ), they are Easter Eggers.

Red Brown is one of the rarest Ameraucana varieties. They are really, really hard to find.
If your girls are mostly black with gold through their head and neck, then they would be Red Brown.

Never mind I think my hen is a Easter egger. My rooster might actually be a blue wheaten.
