I have just finished my first bank of 4 aviaries . I am about to paint the wire black so i can see in better
As you may be able to see i have no indoor shelter ,just the roof over the back 3 meters
I live in Bulgaria and it goes down to minus 30 in winter and as some of live in cold places ,do you think my pheasants will be ok???

I am just building the same opposite .
also in my shed i have 4 incubators, the wooden one i had made and as its a manual turn i put a small frame around the base of the incubator
and a 50mm plastic tube under it
so now all i have to do is just tilt the incubator and not disturb the eggs every time
any comments or advice welcome good or bad

Wow I looked at your pics and you build lots of great stuff! Very nice aviary but I would maybe put harware cloth on the bottom 3 feet to keep anything from reaching in. Nice pheasants too!

Love the bator idea very smart using the tube! I would add some sort of shealter for winter although I dont know how cold it gets as i am more familiar with F than C but minus 30 sounds mighty cold. I would think they need a draft free enviroment to ride out the cold weather.
