My BA is getting brown feathers!

My Black Australorp is getting brown-ish, black-ish feathers. I wanted to breed him but I'm afraid it will mess up the color in the chicks that come from him. Will it? Also is it possible that he will grow out of these feathers? Thanks for your help.

He is 10 weeks old 11 weeks on Monday. He ahs the green sheen like he soposed too but he has brown feather with black centers coming in.

Here he is at 17 weeks. Witch is now. Could he be a mixed breed?

Definitely a mix. Australorps rarely ever have leakage/brassiness, and if a black bird such as them do, it is often in a very minimal amount.
