My BA may be broody

I am pretty sure that my BA is broody. All she does is stay in a nesting box. Gets out to eat and drink and then goes back but the weird part of this post is that not only does she move the golf balls in there to deter egg eating but she never gets back in the same box. But the golf ballls always go with her but never the eggs.
Is she just mixed up or just a werid chicken
