They are now adolescents. Dang teenagers. They grow up so fast.

I was out watching them today and they were clucking instead of peeping, the roo was trying to act like a roo. He still has a lot to learn though.


Btw they are 9 weeks old and I have yet to come up with any names. The closes to a name is I call the roo, rooboy but thats not a good name.

That is a cute name. I am sure names will happen. I think when you get alot at once it is hard to name them. At least that happened to us. We got 13 chicks within a few days and only a couple are named. {{{{{blush}}}}}

I have 2 6 week old bantys. They are so lovely even though they aren't fuzzy butts anymore. Wait until their personalities come out!

Please don't eat them so you can get more babies.

I agree, names come with time. We had one black australorp roo who developed a huge comb about 2 weeks before the other roos - he's Elvis.
