I am going crazy have not found one egg yet, I am in anticipation every morning.

Cayugas lay that early? Eight weeks?? Wow.... I have a pair that's about 16 weeks old now.... haven't seen a single egg and didn't think I would for a while, either.

Someone's duck on here I think Amiga, her duck laid 3 eggs this week and I do believe the duck is only 16 weeks.

Every duck is different, but just watch for the signs of a duck about to start laying. Go ahead and start offering oyster shell for calcium, just to be safe and add a boost for egg production.

Good luck both Rgn87 and gryeyes

They are very pretty. My swedish mix started laying at 20 weeks old. Any time now you should be finding eggs. They probably will hide the eggs from you and lay them in random spots until they get the hang of things. So be prepared to go on egg hunts everyday.
