My babies are finally here!

Yeah, my babies are finally here. I got a call they were in this morning and I went to pick them up. I got 25 Barred Rocks, and 25 Buff Orpington's and picked up a couple of Araucana's and a duckling. They are so cute. As soon as I got them home showed them their water and they found their food no problem. I'm relieved because they were supposed to be here yesterday, and was worried about them as they were shipped out on Wednesday.

That's great. Where did you get them from? Pics if you got some. I just love the pics of the lil peeps.

I ordered through one of our local Runnings stores and they came from Hoovers Hatcheries outta Iowa. I have pics but don't know how to post them. Can you help me with that?

How exciting! We just put in our order for 40 chicks... they should ship June 4th. I would love to see some pictures of yours! We just went crazy on ordering, and since we couldn't make up our minds over what kinds to get, we got 14 different kinds! The only place we have to keep ours is the oversized bathtub that we don't use. I can only image what company will think. How did you get a duckling? Was it shipped with the chicks? We would like to get some guineas, but we don't want to order the 30 required. May have to call McMurray's and see if they will toss in a couple guineas.

I picked them up at our local Runnings store and they also had ducklings, and the kids were with me so I gave in and got one, as I have an older duck out with the hens in the coop. They are all doing good, and a lot of fun. Thanks everyone for your responses!

Thanks. I do love this time of year it's been so neat since we got the babies. I haven't had baby chicks for an awful long time so I was kind of nervous about it. I'm sure now that I know how to get them on here I will have to post every so often. This is also my daughter's first time having chicks and ducklings, as we have laying hens.
