I like literary names, myself. But Ice Cream is fun, too.

Two of them have hatched so far!!! They look like Brown Leghorns to me.

Three more made it!!!!! The little black one near the front came from a blue egg!!! She’d zipped but looked like she was having trouble so I popped the top off. The other two aren’t drinking yet, I dipped their beaks. Their motor skills are increasing by the hour.

Here they are! Out of twelve eggs, ten hatched, nine survived, eight are here because one hatched this morning and is in the incubator.

I kinda like some of the long names - once named a puppy OZYMANDIAS. I called him Ozzie. The name was from a poem. Some great(?) leader had a statue built to honor him for the ages. But years and years later, all that remained were random stones that crumbled on the sand.
