I was expecting my Ideal order to come in the morning, but the PO called and I ran... Can anyone tell me what the little orange packing peanuts are?? I have 4 Self Blue Silkies, 2 barred cochins, and 2 White frizzle cochins..

Cant answer your question, but just wanted to say that those blue silkies look pretty nice for hatchery stock! Have fun with them!

I think that your "packing peanuts" are RIR (Rhode Island Red) roosters.

Thanks.. I ordered a couple self blue silkies a couple weeks ago and they did not have such nice poofs on their heads. I got lucky this time. I think they will be "poofy" ..

Thank You !! Wow are they loud!! Why is it the smallest one is the meanest one? One of the little silkies is going around picking on all the others. Even the huge RIR's. It needs a time out!
