I raised all of these from day old chicks and I’m just estatic at how awesome and pretty they’ve become and I can’t wait for eggs 1ED18A5E-F8D6-42E7-B225-1DF3C6669699.png 75F91641-6834-47FD-B918-391DD44E53E1.jpeg 003D5D60-A38A-40EF-B43C-CE6E46DCA40C.jpeg A071EF52-AB75-4E70-98BE-54572A466AA8.jpeg 7CB93A3C-DCEB-476E-89A3-C0B33B8A10B9.jpeg 78190722-20F5-4DDA-B1BB-A58C453DC719.jpeg 1ED18A5E-F8D6-42E7-B225-1DF3C6669699.png 75F91641-6834-47FD-B918-391DD44E53E1.jpeg 003D5D60-A38A-40EF-B43C-CE6E46DCA40C.jpeg A071EF52-AB75-4E70-98BE-54572A466AA8.jpeg 7CB93A3C-DCEB-476E-89A3-C0B33B8A10B9.jpeg 78190722-20F5-4DDA-B1BB-A58C453DC719.jpeg B7090FF8-37A5-49DB-A3D5-05664836A382.jpeg 72E293EB-B875-48ED-876A-AFDE49BB91D3.jpeg

When I have had chickens mature this time of the year, eggs become an iffy type thing. Most of mine have held off until the days get longer in February. From the pictures your hens look like they have pale combs. They will not lay until those combs are bright red.

I have some that are bright red and where I know some don’t lay until spring when they mature during colder months I’m sure not all of them will wait so I’m sure to get some eggs
