My Babies Got A BIG Brooder :)

So tonight, I finished building the BIG brooder for my 3 silkie chickies! They were just in a tote, but they were getting so big, so fast and they had very little room as of today to really move around at all. I set up a HUGE cardboard box I had left over from a x-mas present, filled it w/shavings, got the heat all set up, water and food, and let them have at it! They are LOVING it! They have like 20x more room to run around, play and explore. They are all snug and fast asleep in it already! Did make me a lil sad to see them growing up LOL But really happy they now have tons more room!!

Great! I fear there are a lot of brooders out there that are just too small for the chicks. I don't think I'd put even a lone chick in most aquariums or plastic bins, not for more than a day or two while I fixed something else up.
