My baby chick is dying!!

I have a chick that is kinda doing the same thing my question is can I give the chick a drop of the vitamin straight to its mouth? I realize chicks and ducklings are two different things but I have a baby duck that has a crooked neck and I read not to give it anything directly like that so before I give the baby chick I want to verify that is cool to do. I have been giving it some vit prior to reading this but I have poured it in my hand and tried to get it to drink that way without much luck. Oh and what is this leg sling? My chick has 1 leg that sticks straight out
