My baby girl Olivia ( my favorite out of my 3 females!!! But, don't tell them that!!! ) Has been being very vocal the last few weeks & I finally decided to stop collecting the eggs to see if she would finally nest. She made a nest & will not let the other females nest in it cuz I'm finding eggs in different areas of the pen, they all used to lay eggs in the same spot. Today I let them out to free range & Olivia did come out after the others were out about 10 mins, when I came home about 3 hrs later I noticed that she was back on the nest!!! I just got done incubating ducklings for a friend & wasn't planning on having more ducks but I guess she has other plans!!!! I would like some advice, I never had a broody duck!

If you don’t mind more duckling then let her sit. Maybe mark the eggs so you’ll know for sure no one is slipping any onto her nest. Other than that when time for hatch I’d separate her from the rest of the flock so she has privacy and the ducklings and her will be safe. She looks so cute peeking out of the door.

The first question is do you have a drake? If not, then the eggs are infertile. I ask because you only mention 3 females.
Next I would agree with @Miss Lydia you need to decide if you want more ducklings.
If you do, then I would leave her be. Make sure she can leave the nest to eat and poop and even better, have a swim to keep clean.
I don't separate mums from other hens and drakes, but if you do decide to then do it on the day the hen finishes sitting and not before the ducklings hatch.

Yes, I have a drake so I know the eggs are fertile, I have a new duck pen that's attached to the old one, it has a kiddie pool in it so she will be able to swim if she doesn't want to go out into the pond & also have some privacy if I decide to block it off. I got " duckling fever" when I was incubating for my friend so, her going broody is a nice surprise!!!!
