My Baby hatched!

Do I need to remove the water from the bottom of the incubator or can it stay in there? Will he dry out fine with the water still in there? and How long should I leave him in there?
Sorry for the questions this is my first hatch I'm kinda stressed/excited at the same time.

congrats on your new baby.he will dry fine with the water in the bottom.you can leave him in there until he has dried and fluffed.make sure you have the brooder set up with the right temps so its ready when its time for him to go in.is he a lone baby or are you waiting for more to hatch? if hes a loner you might want to put a mirror and a stuffrd animal or anything he can cuddle with.they are ver social animals..

Thank you kyrose, he/she is alone he/she was from a friend's hen she was killed by a coon so I told her I'd hatch it out so she could have it. And he/she has a stuffed chick in there for company.
