welcome! keep giving the vet meds if you don't see improvements soon I'd call and maybe get a different med. as for mating I'm sure nature will take care of that soon enough! I raise silkies too! just love them so much! my oldest is 7 months my middle about 41/2 and my babies are three months. they grow so fast! they are so adorable with there gigantic head poofs! silkies are a joy to raise! best of luck to you I hope everything works out good.

Tracy123- I know it's kinda late but I hope your chick survived! We had a similar problem with one of my hens and she didn't make it....Anyway I hope things turned out different for you.
