Hey you know that little turkey I said that hatched other day well it is finally eating and drinking on its own now..I have it on food for Turkeys with the higher protein. I am so happy the poor little thing has finally found its way somewhat.

Does he/she have any friends in the brooder ?

No..the baby chicks got are to old for he/she to be with, had another turkey egg of what was left what didn't break or what not fertile but that egg it did not make it died half way through the 28 days so only got this one ...poor little one..oh so lonely..going to look pretty little in the turkey coop outside by itself when gets big enough to move out to coop.

Hey now I have my baby turkey in with those almost two week old chicks now..all is doing good for it..it was just so lonely by itself..

That is great news. They can make us very nervous when they don't get the hang of eating and drinking right away but they are so cute and inquisitive. Enjoy your Poult.
