So wensday night on 5/16 is when it happened.
I got up thursdayorning at 230 am for work came home at 130pm,noticed that my hens we're not being loud like usual they usually cackel back and forth funny really,but I looked threw my binoculars and saw something on ground didn't think it was anything bad there were 3 chickens running around but then I went onto my porch omg I was horrified so I ran to my pen and it was my chicken little dead broken neck ,so I'm calling for the rest all together I had 12 last year when I started had to get rid of the 2 roosters they were abusing my hens really bad to point they were going bald, so we had 9 know I have 3, anyway I was freaking out so I locked the 3 in there coop last night it came BK,I grabbed my shotgun this thing was Hugh no way was it a racoon,so I looked up Fisher cats we have them here in w.bridgewater but it still looks way to big it broke the 2 by four holding up chain link fence to coop so it could get in, so I went after it last night and he ran the noise this thing makes sounds almost like a turkey kinda my husband came out with his Bebe gun can't shoot shot gun at my house he ran under my porch got him out he ran right for coop so he shot it with the pellet scared it away but I'm so afraid to even open it and let them out it was so dramatic for my son who is 10 due to his autism, know I can't let my dogs out in my child please does anyone have any idea what it could be it's really big heavy to break a board and is dark does not look like racoon and sounds kinda like turkey
