Welcome to BYC. It is an amazing resource for information. The OP's mention of hauling feed brings back memories of my teenage self throwing a fifty pound bag of feed over each shoulder and toting them a 1/2 mile to where my chickens were kept. Of course that was forty+ years ago so now I back my truck as close to my storage building as I can get.
