My backyard..

Is now overrun with dollar weeds...it use to be lush and green and beautiful, other that the holes my girls have made to bathe in along my fence line.... soooo, does anyone have any good advice on killing the weeds without hurting my girls?

Mow them down occasionally, which will favor short stuff and grasses. If you mean those 'dollar' vines, they aren't edible, so the birds are wisely avoiding them. Can you pull them out?
Mulch everything, or fence the birds away from that area and get something else growing there.
Chickens do rearrange landscaping, for sure!
