My little pullet died this morning.  She seemed much improved yesterday but somehow found her way off her towel last night and I think she got chilled lying on the cold steel tub floor.  Amazing my cockerel who was pretty much comatose yesterday is still trying to rally.
I'm a little frustrated.  I have kept animals all my life and my record of chicken keeping thus far is not stellar.  Who knew it would be so hard?

I feel the same way, you name it I've owned it except for chickens until now. I've already lost one and I worked so hard to keep her

fingers crossed the rest stay healthy.... Your birds are beautiful btw, there might have to be a few of those added to my flock in the future

I just read your story. I hope all your chicks are doing good. I just got 10 lavender orpington chicks. They are my first chickens. I like seeing your pics, gives me something to look forward to!
