My bator peeped! O.O *update*

I pulled off just enough shell that the chicks can still get out on there own, but I was still able to wrap a warm moist paper towel around each of the 9 chicks.

Please let everything go well from here.

The white membrane your seeing sounds like the exterior membrane.
The inside membrane looks brown when its dried out.
Don't panic your doing great.

4 are out so far. They're doing great! The first 2 came out an hour and two hours ago. Both are already trying to walk and are holding their heads up great. The other two are resting right now. All of them are shrink wrapped (even the ones that hadn't externally piped), so I'm taking my time and watching them closely. No one has bled on me yet. I had two that hadn't piped yet that quit.

Another is out of it's shell this morning. I have five chicks so far. All are still fluffing out. I'll take pics of them once I move them to the brooder.

congrats on your new peepers, mine are in lockdown as of yesterday...still no signs..
looking forward to pics

That is too cute and funny! We are on our 2nd Hatch, due Saturday!! But last month, we had the same thing happen. Our kids were doing their school work ( homeschool ) and kept hearing peeping and chirping from the incubator. I couldnt get them to concentrate for all the giggling! They were so amazed!! Some chirps and peeps were so loud, I could hear in the next room!! haha Good Luck with those new chicks to be!!
