My Beautiful Chickens!

We started our hobby farm (that's me and my family) with (I think everyone should
smile.png
) 10 chickens, I named them all, there's Rocky Eagle and Fluffy, those are the Roosters, the Hens are Buttercup, Raven, Victoria, Beauty, Violet, Misty, and we can't we CAN'T forget Shadow. Odd name for a Hen? maybe but it suits her, I'll tell you about they're personality's and colors in a minute first I have to tell you three things. #1 Buttercup got killed by a Red-Tailed Hawk about a month before she would've started laying, tragic yes but that's what happens on farms sometimes. Now before you get any ideas we were letting our chickens free range before they're "Guardians" could protect them, (meaning our 3 Roosters) and we were getting very lax on watching them while they free ranged so we didn't see the hawk until he had had half of a big meal, the Hawk couldn't carry Buttercup away because she was to heavy so that was the only way we knew what happened to her he was in the middle of the meadow eating when I scared him away.

Sure enough, them hawks are tough on chickens.
Just something to watch out for.

I tried naming all my chickens in the beginning. But
me being old, I kept forgetting their names. (But they
didn't really answer to their name anyway) So I changed
everyones name to Bob.

Chicken Bob...

I have a dog, his name is Bob the Dog.

All my animals are named Bob. I can remember that.

Sorry about Buttercup. :hugs. That's the worse part of chicken keeping.

It isn't nice to laugh at old people, Buggles...

But certainly I have a Bob cat. Three, in fact.
And a Bob bird...it's yellow and lives in the cage.

My scarecrow in the garden? His name is Bob the scarecrow.
I bought him a shirt a the Goodwill...it says Bob right on the pocket.

My daughter...my poor daughter. Her every boyfriend is named
"Bob". (I don't remember their real names.)

Remember Buggles, someday you'll be old as me and looking for
the simple life.


Spook...who should of married a woman named Bob so I can remember
her name too. But my wife is named Barb. Close as I could find.



**True fact : My wife and I were setting in the living room a while back.
I really forgot her name. I knew I knew her. Just couldn't remember her
name.

Tool me a while.
