My bielefelder chicken egg just arrived and it feels cold, I’m putting it in a egg carton for 6 hours since it has been in the shipping box for a couple of days, should I put a heat lamp over it, because it feels a little cold or should I let it be for 6 hours and than put it in my incubator

It's ok if it feels cold, I think but im no expert. Im only doing my first hatch right now! I say let it get to room temperature before placing it in your incubator.
