My big black beauty of a rooster!!

Guys. I have terrible news. With in the last 2 and 1/2 hours. Salvador has been picked up by some animal. I was looking in the chicken lot and seen all his ladies. But no big black rooster. He’s gone. My heart is completely shattered. I took such pride in that rooster. I knew something was wrong when I looked in that coop and didn’t see him.

I hope and pray he is off somewhere courting another hen! My heart goes out to you. Let us know if you find out anything.

I know, I fear the same thing. He is just such a handsome fellow, I was hoping he might be a bit of a ladies man.

Update: As of now. Ik he isn’t coming home. He’s gone. My beautiful big black rooster. Gone in the blink of an eye. My heart is completely broken.

He was very very loved up here. Now that he’s gone. I think I’m done with chickens cuz. He was out of my original chickens. He was only a little over a year old. And I loved him so much.
