My big roo is limping

This afternoon my big roo started limping. I don't know what happened. I picked him up and manipulated his foot and leg. I didn't feel any breaks and he didn't flinch.
Anything I can do for him other than watch him limp around?

did you check the bottom of his feet for any abrasions or bumblefoot?

Yes, there is nothing.
He is locked into the coop for the night now. I hope in the morning he will be feeling better.

He is still limping this morning and I still can't find anything wrong.

Once in awhile I'll have one of my chooks do that. I think it's because they get a little crazy jumping off the roost in the morning and sometimes land wrong. They could use the ladder to get down the same way they get up, but often they don't. I'd just keep an eye on it and check him over again if it doesn't clear up in a couple of days.
