I’m new to owning chickens. Normal behavior is alert, pecking around, laying eggs, semi-nosy. Since Sunday she has been acting almost drunk like, tucking her head underneath herself or to the side. Not really interested in food, will still drink water. She is lethargic. She has been nibbling at her chest some, we have checked her for mites, found nothing. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Do you have any pictures of her?

Welcome To BYC!

Can you please post photos of her and her poop?

How old is she?

What do you feed, including treats?

Check her crop first thing in the morning before she's had anything to eat/drink, it should be empty/flat. If it's not, then address that symptom. https://www.backyardchickens.com/ar...w-to-know-which-one-youre-dealing-with.73607/

The crop is on the right side of the breast, it's like a sac that holds food/water to be processed/digested. When the bird has been eating/drinking you will feel a firm(ish) bulge on the right side, this is normal - you are feeling food in there.
When she goes to bed/roost, the crop is generally filled and the food/water will be digested overnight so the crop will empty. An empty crop will feel like flat or like a deflated balloon.
