Well over the past few weeks Ive seen pox go through my flock. Both coops have it and though they clearly show the tell tale lesions they seem to be otherwise healthy. No one seem to have gotten the worse wet versian. I havent really done anything to treat them other than to just give them time and make sure that they are eating and drinking. But...
Now that my older hens have started laying they have also started showing pox same as my younger pullets. So... are the eggs safe to eat if the hens do have pox?

And now that they have dry pox I've read that they wont get it again... but can they get the wet form?

The eggs are fine to eat.

They can get pox again- both versions. They only acquire a partial immunity meaning that they will get it more mildly in the future, but they can still get it.

Good luck.
