Hi All,
Here are some pics of my birds. I am new to this forum and my birds are GLW x AO x Silky
I started with a rooster RIR named stir fry. He was going to be one if he didn't stop attacking me.I then progressed to my now GLW.
His girls are from his father and OA and a bit of silky. I still have the gggrand mother of them all and she is a silky (white).

This is the gggrandmother. She doesn't lay any more and is about 8 1/2 yrs old.

Big Man and some of his girls and young.

A couple the front one showing the silky

Meeting me near the gate. Its time for tea or so they think. :)

Nice array of birds. Those genetics resulted in a cool looking mix of chickens. I love those bouffant feather tufts that certain mixes get. Ducks are fun, too. Are there some geese, as well, or are they just big ducks?

Thank you for the replies.

I love the hairdos too. That rooster is a gentle boy with the girls and never bullies them. He is about 4 or 5 yrs old. He throws mainly hens.

Chickens are safe with him as well. I have never seen him hurt a baby of any type.
I have some young hens and have to take photos of them very soon.
I have been very fortunate as I have only had 1 rooster out of about 20 chicks in the last 2 years or so. I had to get rid of him as he was a bully to the girls.

Yes I have geese there. I just sold 3 more and now have just 3 pairs left. Last year I had to round up 27 goslings every afternoon or lose them to foxes. I think I lost weight with the running after them. ;)

My muscoveys are good natured and have never had a nasty drake yet. I have been lucky.

You have been extra lucky with your rooster to hen ratio.

Wow, I can only imagine herding 27 goslings. Geese seem all to happy to follow me until I want them to go somewhere specific, LOL.
