This is Lovey and she is one year old today.

I cannot get over how fast the time has gone. It seems like just yesterday morning I opened her mama's stall door and discovered a baby in there! Just amazing!

Wow she's pretty. I can't get over her coloring. I haven't seen such a solid grey with the coppery mane and tail before. As someone who knows little about horses I have to ask if her mane and tail will stay that color or grow out to grey? She's stunning.

Her mama is gray and her daddy is sorrel. (Their pix are on my website.) She has always had that reddish sheen to her, even as a newborn, when she looked bay. Her mama's babies always turn gray no matter what color they may start out as, so I expect that she will continue to lighten until she is finally white or white-ticked.
