Fawn in my yard

I think it's the best to find out whether fawn has really lost its mother or the mother just thinks your yard is fairly safe and wanting some free parental care while she is away foraging.

Better read the full thread. The fawn was injured and suffering and was put down.

The game warden came and put it down. It had flies and maggots all over its back side. I think it must have gotten injured at some point and just went downhill. Poor sweet thing.
