My Black Australorp????

Who is that to the left in the photo? That looks like an Australorp maybe..... ours had white on her face when she was a chick:

She is all black now and GORGEOUS....

Yes the one on the left is a Black Australorp. Mine had that similar white feathers when younger, execpt that one in center it was all black and then developed the brown neck feathers.

I have had Jerseys come out with red on the hackles and saddle. I think sometimes the right combinations of genes meet up and you end up with a sub-standard bird.
