I was very excited to find my Blue Ameraucana’s first egg. She shipped as a chick on May 6, so it has been a long time coming.

What colors do your easter eggers lay? One thing I love is knowing which chicken is laying which eggs. In this case, it is pretty obvious.

I'd call them bluish, or blue-green maybe? They look brighter blue in the sunlight than they do in the house. This is the first back in October. We have two EEs. One lays an egg that is slightly more gray or green so I can tell them apart. I agree, I love knowing which chicken laid which egg. Most of mine lay brown eggs and unless I catch them in the act, I have no idea who laid them.
