My Blue Ribbon Bantam from the Fair

Can someone help me identify what kind of Bantam she is, I'm wanting to get her a mate and don't know what to get.

Also I'm thinking of purchasing some silkies from MyPetChicken at the same time. Are they good breeders? Can you mix a black silkie Rooster with White Silkies? Any insight on this sure would be appreciated.

Looks like a Serama or an Old English Game Bantam.

As far as the Silkies, what do you mean by 'good breeders'? I know they make great mothers. And yes you can cross a Black Silkie with a White Silkie, but it won't be a true Black Silkie even though they will appear black.

I so sorry, wish it was my blue ribbon, I bought her at the fair and she did have the blue ribbon. But I don't remember what kind she was. She is my very 1st chicken I got in 2008 at Tennessee State Fair. I'm so proud of her and she gets broody a lot. I thought it might be nice to find her a fella. lol
Also I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the MyPetChicken Breeders, whom I was considering ordering some chicks from.

Edited to say that I had a BTBJ as a pet once...it was hatched without wings. She was happy though and lived to the ripe old age of 2 years. I miss her.

Thank you all so much, Look just like her maybe a little darker, now I can get her a mate. I'm sure she'll be a good mommy. She gets broody a lot and can't wait to get some silkies.

shes a black tailed buff japanese very nice i have black tailed white and also solid black japanese they are great birds and very small.
