my blue swedish flock :)

these are my 8 blue swedish, they are hatchery birds, some i got from tsc and some i got from ideal poultry. i have 2 black hens that carry the blue gene, one splash hen, one blue hen and then 4 blue drakes. i know its drake heavy, but i just ordered my incubator and bought some eggs on ebay. i'm hoping i hatch out some more hens!!

i just LOVE the color of these ducks and though they do mess up my water tanks for my goats LOL, i do like watching them splash and swim and my son (2.5) LOVES chasing them. the girls laid eggs, but nobody sat on them, alas, maybe next time??

They are fun ducks. We have 4 BS and 5 Cayugas - I love the way they compliment each other.
