My BO hen is walking funny.

I noticed yesterday, that she would walk normally, then squat and walk like that for awile. I watched her, but thought maybe she was just being submissive with the rooster that was around her. Today I went out and she is doing the same thing. She eats and scratches and walks all over. Sometimes she is upright and sometimes she walks in the squat. What is her problem? Is there anything else I need to watch for?

I have heard from others that is sometimes a sign of them being "egg bound", though I have no personal experience it you may want to do some research on it?? Good Luck.

I just gave her a sitz bath. She wasn't terribly thrilled, but she stood in the water for 35 min. I brought her into the house where she promptly had a good poo that looked quite normal. She didn't like the blow dryer, so I'll just keep her in the bathroom until she's dry. I didn't feel anything in her abdomen. Now what?
