My BO "puffs" up????

My BO hasn't tried to set on anything, yet. I guess I won't give her a chance. We are getting every egg she lays. So I guess it's possible for her to "feel" broody without setting on any eggs?

My BO pullet has puffed up on occasion since she was about 12 weeks old. Still does it. Sometimes it's just her head feathers like she's trying to look like a lion, and other times it's her whole body. I'm a first time chicken mama, so I don't know much about much, but I do know my BO hasn't laid an egg yet and has never been aggressive, but puffs up all the time : ) Meaning, I don't think it means much of anything!!
