My Bobwhite quail chick has a hard lump below his bottom between his feet.

Today I was checking My bobwhite quail chick and one seemed to have what looked like pasty butt but, his back side was all clear and there was like a hard lumpy thing just before between his legs. What is it please? The chick seems fine and happy so I thought I'd ask. Tks
