My Boston Terrier killed a FOX!!

As mean and fiesty as little dogs can be, I'd say you got ur self a Fox wrangler, just be careful the dog doesn't get hurt, Big Dog Little Body Syndrome can cause baddd things.

Well hopefully there will be no more fox. You dog sounds like a hero to me. Protecting everything in sight. You are very lucky.
My dog just wants to play with them and chase them and bother them!

thats great but for your dogs protection & yours, take your dog to the vet & let the vet know what she did, & get a booster rabies shot, foxes can carry rabies, better to be safe than sorry.

Thanks y'all! We love her! I've seen her go after a huge 100 pound yellow lab that charged the boys. She didn't hesitate, and it hasn't been back, since. I have no doubt that she killed the fox. I am surprised, but not shocked.

She is very tenacious and keeps dogs off of our property. She goes straight for the head, and they back off. The fact that it's face was chewed off, and no major body damage pretty much confirms it.

I just had to brag on her! She's definitely a keeper!

A vaccine after the fact doesn't always help. Also, Rabies shots have been shown to be effective for the life of the dog and overvaccination can kill (that's why vets give the shot in the leg - because the vaccine can cause cancer and it's 'easy' to amputate a leg).

If she's really worried, better to test the dead fox for rabies.

Anywho - congrats on your little BT badass sred98!! I've always wanted one of those little goobers and I'm glad to hear at least one is good with chickens!

Smallest dogs with the worst bite! Literally! We had a boston in the clinic one time that was big and mean lol! They can be the cutest things with great personality. Did she sustain any wounds from fighting? If not she is good! LOL

She doesn't have a scratch! But, she just goes straight for the kill shot. No playing around!

She took a rat from my cat one day because he was just playing with it, not biting it or anything. I think she got frustrated, grabbed its head, gave it a shake and threw it down and walked off. I think the cat was a little irritated! LOL! Same thing with the 4 1/2 ft. cottonmouth my son almost stepped on.

The funny thing is, she had her jaw broken when she was a puppy, by the people that had her before us, and it was never set, so the left side of her mouth/jaw curves in. You'd never know it though, because all you can see is her tongue hanging out the right side of her mouth. It hasn't slowed her down a bit! The only thing she really couldn't do was pick up her puppies. She can't pick up and carry anything if you want it to live. She beats the neighbor's German Shepherd in tug of war because she doesn't ever give up. If she ever got into a fight with another animal like that, I have no doubt it would be to the death. Luckily, she is a friendly girl, unless they are uninvited.

The neighbor's German Shepherd isn't allowed over here anymore after he chased some chickens, and that was her best friend. Now he keeps his distance.

I'll have to post a pic of her!
