My bouff and embden keep laying

Hi, it’s January and my two year old bouff and almost one year old embden keep laying eggs, they’re both females, is this normal ? I do keep a light on for them in their coop, should I not do this ? I’m new to geese

Geese, like all fowl, are impacted by daylight period. I would guess that the coop light is impacting their hormonal level and causing them to lay.
